Different, Not Divided (quick conversations, speed dating style) is an effort designed to bring us closer together by sharing our unique stories and experiences. In a world where differences often divide us, this initiative seeks to bridge those gaps and create a community where understanding and empathy flourish. How It Works
Structured Conversations: Engage in one-on-one dialogues (think speed dating, but you know… at church, with friends). You will be guided by thought-provoking questions which prompt us to share our exposures and experiences on topics like guns, the border, fertility — all those hard topics we avoid.
Safe Environment: Our team ensures that this is a space where everyone feels respected and valued. We will navigate these conversations with care, ensuring that all voices are heard and honored. The goal is not to change positions, but to share perspectives and what has informed them.
Mutual Learning: Embrace the opportunity to learn from the experiences and perspectives of others. While our paths may differ, our shared humanity binds us together.
