YOGA | Fall Yoga

Are you a human made in God’s image? Do you have a body? Then yoga is for you.
The word yoga translates literally to mean “union”.
It is the union of movement with breath, mind with body, and our individual identity with the universal cosmic creator God.
Yoga is for everyone— any size, shape, age, or fitness level. It will meet you where you are, but never leave you where it found you.
Classes will be taught in a gentle and encouraging environment at a mixed-level of practice. You are welcome to attend whether you have taken yoga for years, or it’s the first time you have ever stepped on a sticky mat. We will incorporate prayer and movement to enhance our ability to connect with the Holy Spirit in the quiet.
What you need to know
WHEN: Sundays in October, starting on October 9th, 5:30-6:15pm
WHERE: Central Energy
WHY: To connect, to move our bodies, to worship, to belong.
WHAT TO BRING: Yoga mat, water bottle, towel.
*If you need a mat, we have some!
Classes will be taught by DTC member Jenny Nance. Jenny earned a B.S. in exercise science from USC in 2007 and is also a certified personal trainer through ACE. She is a graduate of the 2010 Carolina Yoga Teacher Training. She is passionate about helping others feel empowered to unlock the potential held inside their own hearts.
