SERVE | Rise Against Hunger

This fall, get ready to watch fork lifts coming through the garage doors to drop massive boxes of rice and beans in the middle of our sanctuary. Throw on a hair net, get in an assembly line, listen to some good music, and help us package hundreds of meals for remote, last-mile communities within hunger pockets often over looked by global media and other INGOs. We have partnered with Rise Against Hunger for a meal packing event in our space. This event will lend a hand to people facing hunger across the globe.

When: Sunday, October 2nd 1:00-3:00pm
Where: Church, 2030 Gregg Street
Who: Anyone! This volunteer opportunity is open to every age — families, teens, grandmas, — all are welcome to come and pack meals.

Cost: It doesn’t cost anything to show up and help, but it does cost money to provide the meals we will be packing. We've had a few generous donors throw some zeros after a five. If you have a heart for mission, please make a donation through our website and choose the designation "Rise Against Hunger." The more we raise, the more meals we get to pack, the greater impact this event will have!
