COMING SOON | Baby Hyde

I know you've been watching this belly grow and it's no secret that baby is coming soon. My due date is May 30th. We can't wait to meet our baby girl.

Since babies follow their own sneaky timeline (the one they’ve got figured out with God, but don’t tell mamas or doctors ahead of time), I’ve gone ahead to set the dates of my parental leave.

My final day before taking leave will be Friday, May 28th. I’ll take 3 months away from work, bringing me back into worship leadership and pastoral care at the start of September. During that time, life will go on at DOWNTOWN CHURCH. Worship will be fresh this summer with leadership by Lucas, Charles, a few guest preachers and a whole lot of musicians you love.

Lucas is grateful and excited to step into this temporary leadership role. Know that in his pandemic 9 months at DOWNTOWN CHURCH, he has only met some of you. And because most of those interactions have only allowed him to see the 3 inches from your eyes to your hairline, please don't be offended if he cannot remember your name.
