STAFF | Charles Weathers

Charles Weathers has a new title at DOWNTOWN CHURCH. He's been elder, preacher, counselor, coach and now we add one more title by his name. Charles is on staff as our "Director of Dialogue."

You might be rolling your eyes right now. Why doesn't DOWNTOWN CHURCH ever give titles that actually tell you what staff members do, right? Well, here's a chance for you to hear from Charles what this new role entails and how it might impact you.

"I view the practice of dialogue as an opportunity to connect, realize, and grow. It's a practice because every time we engage in dialogue we're enhancing our skills and learning something new. I'm excited about my new role at DTC - I'm looking forward to sharing space with others - a space where we contribute our words, stories, and images to co-create a meaningful experience that equips and directs us in this journey called life. I can't wait to join you in that space."

Charles will lead worship alongside Lucas and Dawn. He'll preach and lead prayers and provide pastoral care. He will also host dialogues/workshops/experiences that allow us to encounter the Divine in and with one another. Charles has a way with people.
