GROW | Learning to Walk in the Dark
Anyone else feel a bit of darkness right now? When did the sun start going down right after work? It feels like I’m stumbling around, searching for the light of Christ to enter this crazy world. Well, this winter we are going to complicate our understanding of darkness and look for ways to experience God while we learn to walk in the dark.
Pastor Lucas is leading a book study on Barbara Brown Taylor’s book Learning to Walk in the Dark.
It’s only 187 pages long, but certainly a page lingerer where I find myself sitting for a while, taking my time to soak up all the wisdom. We’ll break up the reading over December and January. Join us via Zoom with a cup of coffee on these Tuesday mornings from 7:30-8:30am. 12/15, 12/22, 1/12, 1/26
Barbara Brown Taylor is a retired Episcopalian priest, former religion professor at Piedmont College, and a New York Times Best Selling Author. She’s a boss.
