INVITE | Drop Ins at the Disasa house

On Sunday I sent a letter to the congregation to let everyone know, at the same time, that I would soon depart DOWNTOWN CHURCH. Since then, Sarah, Abraham, Shepherd, and I have heard from many of you individually. We’ve been comforted and encouraged by the support and expressions of gratitude for the friendships we shared. We knew we’d miss you. We did not know how much you’d miss us.

The church started at our dinner table and in our backyard. We were determined to open the doors to our home and our heart. The church was not a building it was a gathering of people. And so, we gathered at the only place we could. Our house.

As we leave Columbia for Dallas, we want to end at the beginning, departing where we started, with our doors open. Please come through and allow us the honor of saying thank you before we say goodbye. Don’t RSVP or regret, just come.

Food, drink, laughter, music, and the people of the church will be there. Give us one more gift and bring yourself.
