Change & Love (God & Callie)

Ex 34:6-7

6 The Lord passed before him and proclaimed,

“The Lord, the Lord,
a God merciful and gracious,
slow to anger,
and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness,

7 keeping steadfast love for the thousandth generation
forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin,
yet by no means clearing the guilty,
but visiting the iniquity of the parents
upon the children
and the children’s children
to the third and the fourth generation.”.

God’s love changed me. In God’s love we seek to find contentment, security, and love for ourselves and others. Although not always visual in tangible life, God’s presence is never changing, infinite. Shifting perspectives from seeking human opinion (including self-criticism) for validation - to looking for God’s love within yourself and in the actions of others, joy is ever more abundant. Recognizing and having gratitude is a fulfilling way to find the love of God in any given moment. It is important to recognize that God’s love has the strength to banish fear and lead us to contentment. Recalling God’s immense love for me chased away the fear of not being good enough, 1 John 4:18 says: There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. I think that mindset is a large part in how you live, having credence in His offerings allows for abundance of gratitude. Faith is not undemanding. How you find trust in His infinite love is personal, it varies from person to person. Training myself to seek to appreciate within, without, and in him, I have found God’s love changed me exodus 34:6-7.
