Open Mic Night featuring Prettier than Matt
Downtown Church will be hosting its second monthly open mic night, and what better way to do it than by hosting a duo. Prettier than Matt has been together for about two years. They astound audiences with their ability to fill out sound and entertain with only the two of them. Jessica Skinner, lead vocalist, swaps between quirky ukelele riffs, dynamite piano solos, and simplistic percussion instruments, and man! That girl can carry a tune! Jeff Pitts backs her up with harmonies and Rocks the lead guitar. The combination of neat instruments, incredible vocals, and charming personalities makes listening fun for everyone who hears them.
