Blog | NEXT Conference Sermon Recording

I don't go to parades, wear costumes (except in big church), or listen to recordings of my own voice. Someone else on the staff edits and uploads our sermon recordings because I am incapable of hearing myself preach. So, I haven't watched the video above from the NEXT Conference which allegedly captures a sermon I preached in early March at the final worship service. Learn more about the NEXT Conference here.

The room was filled with other gifted preachers, teachers, and church practitioners. A few of the people listening live were preachers I try to emulate or learn from. Practicing your craft in front of the masters of your craft was an unusual experience. Anything less than a Word from God when your are preaching to people who seem to talk with God frequently, will be sniffed out. Hopefully I didn't come up short.
