GIVING | End of Year Money Updates (A Letter from Zacchaeus)
It’s end of year giving time. We will be transparent with our numbers and needs (see below) but you know, we gotta do it with a little humor. We asked Zacchaeus to help us out this year.
Dear End of Year Giver,
I’m going “out on a limb” and guessing that you go to Downtown Church.
From up here where I sit, I can see many of you love the music, the cookies, the tiny theologians and youth programming, downtown kids, art, coffee, book studies, whacky outdoor experiments and of course, the sermons. The church needs your financial support to keep creating and offering these things you love.
I will be as transparent as Noah (he was always honest about having 2 of everything, of course) and share the church budget needs.
As you can see they have some budget items to cover before the end of the year.
If your banks are overflowing like the Jordan, you can give online(recurring or one-time-donation), with a check, on Sunday, or through stock transfers. It's never a bad idea to talk to your tax person as well.
See this Giving guide for additional details.
Branch out and help Downtown Church if you can during this season of giving.
