YOUTH | Montreat Recap
Fifteen youth and three adults from DOWNTOWN CHURCH have returned from the Montreat Youth Conference. For an entire week we got to hang out with 600 youth from all across the country. While sleep was minimal, joy was at its max.
We cooked, ate, laughed, stretched, danced, sang, rafted, swam, hiked, cried (some of us), rock hopped, ate junk food, fell out of the rafts (only Lucas), and worshiped all week, together.
Although we began the week as an awkward crew of teens who didn’t know each other, we returned home feeling like family.
The YOUTH are already asking about returning next year and the answer to that is a big fat YES! Registration will occur in the fall, be on the lookout. We’d love to have you there.
