CHAGES | Music Update

Lindsay-Blair Simmons has decided she needs some more time and space with her family. She took some leave in September and has come back deciding she wants to change her role with us a bit. So, instead of working as our full time director of music, she’ll take on a role of consultant. 

Wait, what does that mean?

Well, Lindsay-Blair still meets with Dawn to pick music and musicians. And you’ll still get to hear her beautiful voice singing about once a month, but, this change gives her the flexibility and boundaries she needs to prioritize her family during this pandemic time. 

How will this affect our sound?

Diversity of music has always been important to us. We will continue to enjoy a variety of awesome musicians week after week on our back lawn and in our worship podcast. It’s a testament to Lindsay-Blair that she has built up such a strong team of musicians to lead. No doubt music will continue to be amazing in the months to come.
