FLOOD RELIEF UPDATE | Welcome Baby Zion
As you may remember, Danielle Allen is working with two families as part of our flood relief efforts. I had a chance to sit down with Danielle and find out more about what's been happening in their lives. Listen to the interview below:
Molly Washington Family
Aside from her new job, Molly is working on getting her student loan debt info to St. Lawrence Place to begin working on rebuilding her credit. She's hoping to be to be in a position to purchase a house later this year. She is also very excited about the possibility of taking a certification class at Midlands Technical College in June.
Patrice Williams Family
Patrice has been really busy this spring! She completed a phlebotomy class and delivered a beautiful baby boy, Zion Messiah Wakefield. She's also volunteering at St. Lawrence Place, answering their phones at the front desk, to complete her required community service hours. She's working with her case manager at St. Lawrence Place to develop a plan to move out of her mom's house.
