CONNECT | Co-Directors of Music

Lindsay-Blair Simmons and Sean Thomson are now serving as  Co-Directors of Music.
Together they will lead the community of musicians that make worship at DOWNTOWN CHURCH something more than a church service.

Sean and Lindsay-Blair, who were both assistant staff musicians serving alongside Kelley Douglas before her departure, realized early in the interim period that their skills were complementary and that it would be foolish to not make room for both of them.

While it is unusual for a church of our size to fill a critical staff position with two people, we are determined to make this unordinary division of leadership a reflection of what can happen when people dare to share a little power and swallow some pride to find that elusive harmony that makes for beautiful worship.
