10,000 Tongues
Yesterday was Pentecost, a day set aside to recall the arrival of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. The scripture we read was from Acts 2 and included the curious detail of people speaking in different languages (tongues). The video below has almost nothing to do with the sermon or the scripture besides the reference to speaking in different languages. Still, I’ve been waiting to share my favorite funeral eulogy for many months and I couldn’t wait any longer. Charles Adams is popularly known as the Harvard Hooper for his Ivy League degree. He doesn’t quite get to whooping in this clip but it’s nonetheless a joy to watch. Don’t you want him to do your funeral?
