What I look forward to in Christ's return? (God & Noah)

Revelation 22:16-17, 20

16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life. 20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

My recent moments of peace have been sitting in my room watching the colors alter on my bedroom wall (Usually with a cup of coffee). The shades of nothing change to deep purples/blues which change to effervescent pinks & oranges. The change from nothing to everything is a peaceful exchange. It happens every day, even when it rains. Although the colors aren’t as fun then.

Jesus comparing himself to the Bright Morning Star really resonated with me. We’re currently in the night, waiting for him. And one day we’re going to see him rise in the sky, giving his light to the world. Although these scriptures can be scary and can make our imaginations run wild. I’m learning to find Hope in Jesus’ promise that he will return. Bringing with him a new world, a new peace, and a new light.
