Spring - Backpacking Trip
Dates: March 15-17 (leaving first thing Friday morning, returning Sunday afternoon/evening)
Location: Mount Rogers and Appalachian Trail Loop
Distance/Experience: The plan is to cover some distance on this trip. The last two smoky trips were about 18miles (6 miles each day). This loop is a tad longer, about 22ish miles, we'll pushing on Saturday for a full day of hiking - really make you earn that Star Crunch on Saturday night. This is all to say, this shouldn't be your first backpacking trip venturing into the wilderness. If you have been on a previous DTC trip, you will be well suited. If you haven’t, reach out to Theresa or Tim.

Fall 2024 Hut to Hut in the White Mountains National Forest, New Hampshire
Dates: ~September 30 to ~October 4 (exact dates/itinerary are TBD)
Location: White Mountains Nation Forest, New Hampshire This will also be some tough hiking, but you won’t be carrying nearly as much gear as a traditional backpacking trip. PLUS you will get meals prepared for you at the end of the day at each Hut. 
Cost: ~$1000 + Airfare
Trip Leaders: Theresa Penney + One more person

For the White Mountains trip to work, we need commitments for enough folks by March 1, with a deposit. If you are interested, let us know. There are still lots of details to be figured out, but we want to ensure there is enough interest before we commit as a group to go.
