In response to the teen violence in the 29203 area, we've reached out to the Family Engagement Specialist in that school system to try and help.

They've let us know that they could use gift cards for $25 to Walmart to help incentivize students and their parents to attend school. There's a correlation between school absence  and teen violence. You can bring them on Sunday and put in the wooden offering bowls by each door. We’ve had 28 cards donated so far. If you aren’t able to drop a card off this Sunday, you can venmo church member Marne Jenkins (@Marne-Jenkins) who will pick up the cards for you.
